About

Khmer photographer & storyteller · Cambodia
I am Khmer, and I photograph the quiet parts of Cambodia — first light on the Mekong, the flooded forest opening up after the rains, a doorway in Phnom Penh somebody has just walked out of. This site is where the pictures and the stories that go with them live together.
This site is the archive. Pictures tend to get scattered across phones, hard drives and apps; here they sit next to the writing that explains them, which is the only way I have found to make either of them make sense to somebody else.
I shoot mostly available light, mostly outdoors, and mostly slowly. If you want to use a picture, or you want to talk about a commission, a print, or a walk somewhere with a camera — get in touch.
